Candolim is a quiet beach backed by scrub covered dunes and on of the first beaches that can be reached going north from the capital of Panjim.  Nearby Fort Aguada beach resort and other package tourist companies acquired grater part of the beach. There are a few other middle class hotels with restaurants attached for the needs of individual tourists as well.
 
Parasailing, water skiing and other sports are easily available here.
