Keri (also known as Querim) is the northernmost beach in Goa. This over 1 km long, beautiful and quiet
beach is lined with Casurina and palm trees.
Across the Tiracol river bank, which can
be accessed by small ferry is an ancient Tirakol Portuguese fort now
accommodating an atmospheric hotel. Accommodation on Keri beach are limited to
thatched huts with few shack restaurants serving local fresh seafood and other
common "beach shack menu".
Good
for swimming with rock free
bottom but beware of currents next to the river outlet.
